I am a Senior Applied Scientist in the Natural Language Understanding group at Amazon - Alexa AI.
Formerly: Ph.D. student at the Max Planck Institute for Informatics under the supervision of Prof. Gerhard Weikum
I am broadly interested in natural language processing/understanding (NLP/NLU), particularly question answering (QA), conversational QA and named entity recognition. At Alexa AI, we investigate new Machine/Deep Learning methods to launching Alexa in new languages faster and at lower cost.
